Assoc.Prof. Thawatchai Onjun, Ph.D., Executive Director of Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology providing welcoming remark at IMRP20

On 7th November 2022, Assoc.Prof. Thawatchai Onjun, Ph.D., Executive Director of Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology was invited by the International Irradiation Association (iia) to provide a remark during the opening ceremony of the International Meeting on Radiation Processing (IMRP) 20 to welcome more than 300 participants who attended the conference at Avani+ Riverside, Bangkok. The event is locally supported by Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (Public Organization) as the member of iia.

IMRP is a renown international forum where many experts working in the field of irradiation technologies gather as a community to share their knowledges, experiences, and information relating to sterilization of healthcare product and phytosanitary irradiation. In parallel of attending technical sessions, TINT established an exhibition booth to promote irradiation services offered. Moreover, on 11th of November, TINT will host a technical visit for participants of IMRP20 to learn more about the irradiation center. The center, located in Klong 5, Pathum Thani province, is equipped with three irradiation modalities—gamma, electron beam and X-ray irradiation offering services to a wide range of products including agricultural products such as spices, herbs, fruits, food, industrial materials, and medical devices.
