Regional Workshop on Advance Business Techniques for National Nuclear Institutions (NNIs), 21 – 25 April 2008, Pattaya, Thailand Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) held the Regional Workshop on Advance Business Techniques for National Nuclear Institutions (NNIs) during 21 – 25 April 2008 in Pattaya. The meeting is mainly intended to share information on, and develop further skills in, managing the technical, financial and human resource changes necessary to implement strategic plan for sustainability of the national nuclear institutes, to draft a business plan for the transfer or commercialization of an emerging technology as an example of the role of a business development unit in guiding the setting of R&D priorities, and to exchange information on the role of a business development unit in the training of scientific and technical staff in basic business management skills.
