Who are we?
Officially open for operation on 25 December 2006, Advanced Technology division is responsible for investigating all the interesting nuclear technology. We keep up-to-date with nuclear news and educate students and the public. We provide services (analyses and academics) relating to nuclear technology to all sectors. Our students come from all parts of Thailand.
We also conduct research relating to nuclear physics, radiation, and fusion. We present our works at conferences in and out Thailand.
Some members of Advanced Technology are also contributing members of the Nuclear Society of Thailand (NST). NST strives toward educating Thai public about nuclear science and technology, as well as helping the government plan for nuclear utilization in the country. These objectives complement what we at Advanced Technology do.
Research topics and other interests: Thin film etching with neutrons, neutron radiography, X-ray fluorescence (XRF), Monte Carlo simulations, neutron activation analysis (NAA), and plasma fusion physics.
Research collaborators: Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Chulalongkorn University (Physics), Thammasat University (Physics), Association Euratom-CEA (France)
